We’ll choose Keratin bonds or Tape-In extensions depending on your look, your lifestyle and your budget.
Application Methods
There are two Great Lengths application options - Keratin Bonds and Tapes - each offering different benefits. Whilst we would always recommend that you discuss the best application option for you with one of our certified stylists, this guide should give you an overview of the key differences.
Individual Keratin Bonds
- Our most popular application option
- The bond is wrapped around a small supporting section of hair, and secured in place (just down from the root) using a Great Lengths application machine
- Lasts for around five months, if well maintained
- Suitable for adding length, volume or introducing colour
- Available in our full colour range
- Available from 8 inches up to 20 inches in length
- The only application option for our Flowstrands and Diamond Threads
- Double Drawn – same thickness from root to tip
- Remy Hair – All strands are facing in the direction of natural hair growth resulting in radiant hair which is matt and tangle free
- Scientifically proven not to damage healthy hair when applied correctly and well maintained
QUICK APPLICATION - GL Tapes
- A more temporary tape-in application option
- The natural hair is sectioned and a tape is applied below and above it, just below the roots. No machine is used
- Can last between six – eight weeks, if well maintained and be re-taped up to three times
- Suitable for adding length, volume or introducing colour
- An extensive range of Great Lengths colours available
- Available in 25cm, 35cm, 45cm and 55cm
- Double drawn – same thickness from root to tip
- Remy Hair – All strands are facing in the direction of natural hair growth resulting in radiant hair which is matt and tangle free
- Will cause no damage to healthy hair when applied correctly and well maintained
